Pastor Sam Gage was born in Chicago, Illinois. He heard the Gospel for the very first time at a football breakfast during his senior year of high school, and that day he put his faith in Jesus Christ. He went on to serve as a navigator on a submarine in the US Navy. After the Navy, Sam earned a Master of Divinity degree and returned to the military to serve as a Chaplain in the US Air Force. After the Air Force Sam pastored in Nashville, Tennessee and then came to pastor Brooklyn Baptist Church in 2013. He desires to shepherd a healthy church where everyone is committed to being and making disciples of Jesus Christ. Sam is an earnest expositor of the Scriptures. He believes that the Word is sufficient for building a ministry and changing lives. Sam is married to Dana and they have three children, Samuel, Jeremiah, and Anna Grace.
