Theology Thursday: Learning to Think Like Christ
Last week’s post identified anti-intellectualism in the church and how it shows up in an emphasis on the heart instead of knowledge. This is a false dichotomy, and a dangerous one. A common manifestation of this problem shows up in the way we make decisions. Instead of searching the Scriptures and learning to think like Christ, we rely on our feelings and even circumstantial coincidences.
We study theology is because it determines everything we do. We study theology so that we are conformed to the mind of Christ, and not the spirit of the age.
